    Default Tag link bracelet adjustment

After much searching, I came across this article on another forum board. This is short, sweet, and simple - and it worked for me. I hope others can use this information.

Re: Removing Links from Link Series

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Link is actually one of the easiest watches I've ever sized, and I have to give huge props to the person that designed the bracelet so that it basically has no ugly holes showing along the side of the bracelet. It's an amazing design. Anyways, if you look on both ends of the clasp, you will see two pin holes. That's where you begin. The link that's connected to the clasp acts as a lock to the rest of the links and the pin that's in that link is what locks it. Knock out the pin to that first link, now the clasp section, with that locking link attached, will seperate from the rest of the bracelet.

Be VERY careful now as the middle section of the first link in the rest of the bracelet (where the two seperate halves of the link comes together) contains a small collar that's used to lock the pin from the clasp section. Poke it out and put it somewhere safe. Now comes the magic of the Link bracelet, the link will split in half so that you get the famous "S" shaped link. Half will come off, the other half contains a small screw that mates it to the next link in line. You need to have a very fine, razor thin flathead screwdriver to remove it. Remove the screw and now the other half of the link comes off. Repeat as necessary until you have the correct size.

Whichever link you stop at, you now need to put that small collar you first removed into. Mate the link with the clasp section and drive the pin back in. And voila, you're done. Don't forget the clasp has 3 microadjustments as well.

I probably made it sound more complicated than it really is, just drive the pin out at the clasp and the rest you'll figure out pretty quickly. And don't lose that collar!
