    Default New glock

So this past weekend I went to the gun show and decided to pick up this like new generation 3 Glock 23. I got a fair deal on it considering what I paid for my 19 and 26. It was only $400 but had no box and only one 10 round magazine. I had an extra box at home so it didn't really matter. While at the gun show I bought 3 13 round factory magazines and some ammunition(250 rounds Remington umc fmj's, 50 rounds of federal hst 180 grain LE hollows and a box of Remington golden saber hollows)

Also installed a ss guide rod

    Will post better pics later

Nice, picked up a G22 on the weekend and a Izmash Biathlon Basic .22LR myself.

Just for the heck of it I swapped slides between the G17 and G22 and its a perfect fit, except for the ejector which is different. Magazines swap between a G17 frame and a G22 frame as well. Love Glocks.

I got a gen 4 glock 17 last week, a CZ82 and CZ75 this week. As advanced and great as the g17 is, the CZ82 is now one of my favorites....

I was shooting it at a range next to an FBI agent doing double tap and 555 drills, and consistently outshot her time after time. I was literally cutting the bullseye out of the target at about 15 yards.

She finally came over and asked what I was shooting and looked kind of annoyed when I asked how she liked her 357 sig....

I realize we were shooting totally different guns in different ways, but I still got well tickled over it.

Luvs my G20. Everyone has to have a least one Glock. I think more than that gets kinda repetitive, but that's just my opinion. They are totally rock solid reliable weapons.

I've been pretty happy lately with my M&P's, but I have been itching for a G21 to get a hi-cap .45. I love my 1911, but these plastic guns are just perfect for their intended purpose.

Very nice. This is exactly what I need to complete my Glock collection. I have a G19 (9mm) and G21SF (45ACP). The G23 (.40) will fit nicely in the middle.

Not in the UK you can't. You need a licence for a pea shooter.

we carry glock 22's in the sheriffs office, mine has about 8500 rds through to date (i'm the firearms instructor) and my almost never FTF or FTE. glocks are one of the most reliable handguns period. those m&ps ain't no slouch either. but if were talking handguns the 1911 needs to be mentioned as well

As a matter of interest, what sort of cost are you looking at for pistols like these? Coming from a country where you virtually cannot buy a handgun (legally) I was just curious.

I think most Glocks are in the $500 to $600 usd range. My Talo G19 was $550

Many of the large stores that sell in volume will sell them for $500-$600.

I was looking at the 23 over the weekend.
The store wanted $599 for a pre-owned one and were willing to give me $150 for my 22.
    Such a deal!

If it ain't broke, take it apart to see why it works.

That's kinda what I thought. Makes some of the collections herabouts worth quite a bit.

    I would love a Glock.
Even the name feels good in the mouth when you say it.

No chance in the UK though. Only criminals are allowed guns over here

Funny how criminals don't seem to be affected by the law. I guess that's why they call them criminals.
