Default Quartz with Sweeping Second Hand

Newb here. I've googled this topic and haven't found a good answer. I've seen Bulova and a Seiko on youtube. Do high end quartz watches, like a Tag Heuer, have sweeping second hands? Do any rep versions have sweeping second hands?

Some dealers, like Narikaa carry quartz microstepers. Have a look in his section.

Check Stan @ WBK over on RWI. He sells a Rolex Daytona with the Seiko VK movement (microstepper), where the chrono's seconds hand sweeps.

Several reps use the microstepper movement (Chrono-seconds sweeping with some stutter like a 21j movement). Hublot have some microsteppers. Tags in quartz normally tick.

Looks at Bulova Precisionist. High end there's a Jaeger-LeCoultre chrono movement ( I think it's a meca-quartz or 352)where the chrono second had sweeps like an automatic but underlying movement hacks like quartz. In older J-L chronos as well as IWC and Bulgari. Also, I have a 70's Omega mega-quartz 720 that sweeps, as well as, Accutron accuquartz. Hope that helps.

Hahah right, the Bulova Precisionist seconds sweep even smoother than the 28800bph autos. A pity they're not available to the rep makers.

a quartz with a sweeping hand must be more reliable than a mechanical automatic or am I wrong?

You have to be careful of what you are reffering to as the second hand.
The "micro-steppers" CHRONO hand sweeps fairly smoothly, not the normal second hand you will be seeing when the chrono is not in use.
The normal seconds hand will pulse/step like all quartz watchs-
EXCEPT the Bulova Precisionist. The Bulova Precisionist normal seconds hand runs even smoother than the 28k mechanicals.

All of the Bulova Accutron II sweep super smoothly. I own about 6 of these, I love them. Here is a youtube I found with the sweep:
