Great review and thanks for the effort made - another temptation!

Do you still get the floppy hands on the 3 o'clock sub dial with this movement?

    That's a great review, thanks!

Good to see the H Factory is back making super reps. There was even a rumor they were finished.

For a while people would only consider Noob now there's some real competition. Even the CG looks good, something H Factory was not

very good at (as opposed to dials/crystals).

Great review Polonus! I just received mine, and this thing is a masterpiece! Those concentric rings in the sundials are barely visible, I had to put on my watch loupes to see them.

    I have a 228, 229 & now this masterful 224

Where you see the GEN polished caseback that is most likely when the watch was serviced, the owner did not specify and the WS just polished the whole damn thing! .... its a shame because one of the other beauty of these Firenze models is the high polished caseback center with the engraved image of the Panerai boutique front door in Florence, and the beveled edge is a heavy brushed finish, with vertical lines radiating away from the center ... all three models have this caseback ... very tedious work .... and obviously the blue sunburst dial and blue gator strap are the highlights of these models

on mine, I exchanged the strap for the GEN dark blue Alligator that comes with the GEN watch ... the REP strap has the lighter blue thread, the GEN strap has darker thread, and is much better finished ... as this is with any GEN Panerai alligator, expensive, but worth the money

This is probably the only PAM chrono I would ever own ... that movement does need to be serviced ...as with any A7750 or A7753, the movement is probably dry & dirty... winding is rough, and you have to gently swivel & wind
