    This watch is a 9.

Aside from the movement, what are all the updates to with this version? I bought one with the miyota movement a few years back. My biggest issue with the watch was that the inner ring on the bezel was too thin compared to the original. I feel it looks like it may have been updated, but can't tell for sure. Is the crown brushed or polished? The one I have is brushed already so I'm not sure why they would go back and make it polished if the gen is not. Also did they update the strap material?

The crown is polished. The bracelet is excellent and is ridiculously long. Expect to remove 5 links for a 7.5" wrist.

Thanks for your insight. How is the Nato strap? Does it have thicker/smoother seat belt like quality or is it same as all the other generic ones

The strap is decent but the buckle is thin and flimsy feeling.

Question for you guys, I received mine and the crown screws down to about 1.5mm from the case side, you can see the polished tube, is that how the gen is? Or should I trim the stem to bring it flush to the case? Also do we know that the bezel is ceramic? How are the numbers applied? It looks very different to gen insert number construction.
    Thanks guys!

My crown screws down with a tiny gap and I can feel it compress the gasket. You cannot see the stem:

The numbers don't seem applied but rather integrated into the bezel (liquidmetal markers). It is ceramic.

Thank you! I really appreciate the pictures, yours definitely screws down more than mine, I may see if the stem is too long in mine, besides that, it's an amazing watch!

My pleasure! I used to say that there is no such thing as an Omega super rep until this watch was released.

I like the new updated thicker nato strap and the new movement, but I think I'll wait for them to fix the bezel inner ring issue. Thanks for the photos, much appreciated

Just use the foc nato strap, it will be all good.
