Lightbulb A small survey for my bachelor thesis! Thanks!

Hello to all horologists, horophiles, watch enthusiasts and fellow members!

Social Media is now on everyone's lips. Even the most conservative industry, the high-end watch brand, our “Haute Horlogerie” has to adapt to it. Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & SŲhne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, ROLEX and many more, they are all “social-media-active”. Even Patek Philippe has started their first Instagram advertising campaign like one week ago. Nowadays if you are not present on social media, you are already one step behind.

So as a watch enthusiast and a media student, I found the need to study this field, to know more about the potential usage of social media marketing for the luxury brands in the watch industry. I have decided to conduct this survey to gather information for my research!

In order to finish it, I need your help

What do you think about it? Should these brands be present on social media? Let’s me know in my survey:

    ** link removed **

⚡️ I know how precious your time is, so the survey is kept as clear, simple and short as possible. It will only take about 5 - 7 minutes!

If anyone is interested in the result of the survey or my research, just leave a comment below or send me a direct message , I will send you the full report when it’s done!

I deeply appreciate all of your support and NO! I don’t want to spam you in any way. So, don’t worry, you will remain completely anonymous.

Once again thank you very much!

Best regards from Hamburg ⚓️, Germany!

    Done.

However, please note that it's a forum about replica watches. Some people might be confused by the question about what are the brands they own watches of - as in, for example, they own a replica Rolex and a replica Audemars Piguet so they'll select both Rolex and AP, even though their watches aren't authentic.

Of course a lot of people around here own genuine luxury watches as well, myself included.

Oh, and at the question about the price range of watches i buy i've ignored all the replicas i buy and focused only on the price range of my genuine watches.

Thank you for your time and your thought! Actually I also so knew about that problem you mentioned above. But you are totally right, there are a lot of member here who also own GEn watch, that why I still chose Repgeek to gather my information! And I think people understand that I speak about GEN watch in my survey.

Once again thanks bro! Much appreciated!

OP, the usual practice when conducting any sort of surveys on a forum is to first seek approval from the owner or one of the moderators. Have you done this? You were called out on this on RWI and then came and posted your request here. Thatís not how itís done. If you havenít received approval, please do so first before continuing otherwise you risk being banned. @nembo @mysterio

I have actually check the rule from RWI and there is nothing about survey so I have thought i could do it. An another problem was that I have some backlink from the AP, Patek... there, which I have completely forgot about (I have remove all of it here)

Sr for posting it without approval, because of the pressure of time.

I have already contact the admin for aprroval! Hope you all understand

    Have a great day!

I am all for surveys and seeking information from forum members for education related purposes. However, even when time is short, asking for permission to post on someone elseís forum is still appropriate, even if there are no rules posted that prohibit this. Furthermore, with formal support of forum admins youíll get a much higher response rate, which will improve the reliability of your results and conclusions.

Iím glad to hear youíve contacted admin to gain their support and wish you the very best in your data collecting.

@Hurricane, your survey is totally irrelevant here, being a forum for replica watches. And case in point, even the gen forums rejected your survery (Watchuseek, yes we know about it). So welcome to RepGeek and if you wish to stay, please feel free to do so but any further mention of this survey or attempts to distribute it behind our backs will be dealt with swiftly.

    @Hurrlcane
I just saw your pm, i will reply here to your request because i'm not sure if you sent me the message before or after my moderator shut down your thread and this gives me the opportunity to explain something
I can only second what he wrote above and let's make this clear, we have a team of moderators for a reason and i very, very rarely overrule any of them
As a matter of fact i don't even recall the last time i did, they have my complete trust so going around them will bring no results
Now, if you didn't and you actually asked me before @mysterio stepped in,no harm done, that's ok but unfortunately all he said in the previous post is correct
This is not the place for this kind of survey but i wish you good luck on your thesis nonetheless
@Ride2live thank you for bringing this to our attention
