    I just received my JF v9.5 and it also doesn't have the new movable end links. It states on the website that the watch has the movable end links. Frustrating...

    However, only 1 of the 2 watches I recieved has the improved end-links whilst the other one has completely stuck end links. Unfortunately I didnít notice it on the QC. Yet - I assumed that since I ordered the latest version, I was getting this latest improvement!

    Also, the bezel bolts are not recessed whilst the other one does have slightly recessed bolts. Even though I care less about that. Hence I doubt that this is a V9.5, even though it has the new date-font. This could mean the factory is still trying to get rid of old case-sets and I fell victim to this.

    But this is something Iíd expect my TD to take care of. Heís advertising with these improvements so he is the one who should already reject this piece before shooting the QC.

    Moreover - this same watch ďComes with free XS rubber strap - while stock lastsĒ. I didnít get any extra rubber strap while other TD's have confirmed the factory is still providing an extra XS-strap with every V9.5.

    So as a 'loyal customer' (to my definition) I get charged 30% more on a watch 2 times. I am ordering 2 $400 watches that are supposed to come with an extra rubber strap - I am not receiving. Instead I get one that is clearly inferior to the latest specs.

    I understand that TD are here to make money. Fine. But when I address this issue in a friendly manner, I am getting avoiding responses that he 'doesn't cheat or lie' - I never accused him of that and I just wanted to solve this in some way.

    What to do here? Thanks

    I've deal with many TDs, and there are a few that are just disappointing to deal with. It is sad that loyal buyers don't get a "special" treatment, but the question is "Should loyal buyers get a special treatment or attention?". In Western society; maybe...but in the Far East maybe not...Also, there could be a new person who handles the "customer service" for your TD, and s/he doesn't care who the buyer is.

    And Dave, your situation sucks- you're an long standing good member and you have valid problems sir. Maybe give the helpdesk feature a shot or tap (PM) your favorite RG admin for a favor?

    ...$10k should count for something. You would think- but I don't find that it does so I can only imagine how much business these guys get!

    I want to note that the TD in question has sent me store credit worth the amount I payed too much. It's convenient for both as I'm soon buying a new watch from him and he doesn't need to go through the hassle of refunding.

    I appreciate this from TD.

    The xs rubber strap that was not included - I still think it's kind of cheap but won't make a big deal out of it.

    I've sold the JF 9.5 with faulty end-links so I don't care much about it anymore. Just another lesson to be very sharp at those QC pictures. Apparently JF is clearing old stock here.

    Nice end, but again it shows you cannot even trust a TD with closed eyes. Its only the money, they want.
