@Opalows: I'd like to trade it to black v2 Skyland (on bracelet) or Graphite v2/v3 BCE (with a decent datefont), inside the EU.

There have been many requests from my friends about the rep Fish as the lume dots are so nicely applied. I'll sell it only if I can't find a nice trade.

Thanks for the interest, everyone. Much appreciated.

Yeah Dave... I'd like to try Skyland and see if I like it. Bentley... yeah I like it but I thought the reps were grossly outdated, without AR and all that. Do you have a gen?

Nice review. I did a quick comparison of the white gen and $100 Asian version a few months ago:

http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=76459

I came to the same conclusion - that unless you love this watch and plan to keep it forever, the rep is a great deal, and the $100 rep is/was maybe the best bang for the buck you can get. On the other hand, the gen is such a steal right now that it may be the best bargain in gen watches.

To me, other than the color of the dial (which, like the blue, is just different), the most noticeable differences on the face are the raised dots (as you mentioned), the date font, and the much wider metal surround on the date window. All are very subtle, though.

That was great read.

Funnily enough, the hour markers on your Asian rep look great. At least in the pictures. They're correct ivory white and flat.

I guess all rep dials have differently shaped lume dots (depending on the color). Or perhaps this is just random?

Had the GMT as you might recall. Reps?,no.

That is big, even bigger then the SA,slightly.

When it comes to blue Breit. dials, none is better then the GT,that dial is something.

I have my blue dial Nav. GMT and my bling SA,good enough but i still think about that blue Bentley GT,not that big and that dial is something.

Getting off topic here, the Fish is a nice entry level Breit. and the dial is pretty good. :)

My Asian's dots are rounded, but the surrounding rings are higher than yours, so they stick up less. But they are the right color, and they glow decently.

I think that, all-around, the old style box-hand fish reps are much better than the newer arrow-hand "noob" ones - the lower-end Asians even more so than the high end.

Thanks, all.

I added very informative link to the review. It's a BreitlingSource article that explains the differences between original (old) 42mm Steelfish and the newer Steelfish X-Plus 44mm (my gen and rep).

Enjoy it here. (http://blog.breitlingsource.com/2007/09/25/breitling-superocean-steelfish-42mm-44mm-x-plus-whats-the-diff/)

It might come in handy for people who are looking for the gen.

Nice model. Is there no replica version with correct flat limedots on the dial?
