Great BT,love the 3 legged man bit,no kidding on that one but i'm still fussy on flaws....;)

You have these Ebel's growing on me and many others i'm sure, this one reminds me of some of the Ferrari watches for some reason, dunno if it reminds others,i prefer that white dial as likely you do as well.

Great review. :)

Yeah that Ferrari comparison is good. I never thought of that.

Thanks man.

Yeah, the datewheel is sunken like on all A7750 Tricompax watches.

Promise kept BT, an excellent review again! Now I have a big dilemma; should I go for red or yellow? I think I will go for the red one ....

Thanks Mav.

Yeah it's a bit difficult between yellow and red. I think I prefer the yellow (a little bit)... but I wouldn't mind the red, either. Yellow is probably a bit more "garish" which I like.

Are you going to wait for the "tighter subdial" version?

Another excellent review BT. Just yesterday I ordered the panda Discovery because of your review of it.

The dealers must owe you a freebie or 2 by now :D

Thank you, BT!

This yellow stitching is absolutely marvelous, btw...

But they know that I don't accept freebies. I'm not for sale. I have borrowed a few watches to write a review though... but never accepted a freebie. ;)

I'm really surprised how much I like the strap. I was going to order a spare bracelet for this but I'm not sure anymore...

I don't think so BT, I can do three things:
1. wait for you to sell it
2. wait for a better version
3. buy now

Option 3 is the best I think!

Now I have to crack a nut between red and yellow .... :D

Hey Mav,

The black one has a black "rubber style" bezel ring, and the bezel on the yellow version uses mirror finish steel.

Have you noticed this before? I never did.

Yes I did BT. The shiney bezel is ready for scratches and the rubber possibly is more durable, but I'm just guessing. Haven't seen and felt these babies before ...

Hi cebo.

I believe most (if not all) major dealers sell this watch.

Happy hunting!

Still happy with the yellow one BT?

Yes, very happy. However I ordered a bracelet from Precious Time for my BTR. At the end of the day I'm not a strap guy... just can't change it. ;)

I bought a bracelet for my BTR and this really "finishes" this watch. Inaccurate spacing or not, this watch has a stunning wrist presence.

The "rounded" bracelet feels substantial and looks amazing. Very high quality!!!

Is it the exact same brace as on the panda discovery BT?

By-Tor

Hi Mav,

it's very similar in design but the BTR bracelet is a tad thicker and those link edges are rounded. I actually prefer this one over the Discovery bracelet. Very, very nice and it contours with the wrist perfectly.

I don't know.... I've been flipping back and forth between the wrist shots of the strap and bracelet. I think I'm feeling the love for the strap. :facejump:
Hmmm... decisons, decisions...

Hey all old friends.

I've been completely out of loop for MANY, many years. I bought a lot of gens and been wearing them mostly.

But this is the ONLY rep I ever regretted selling. It was superb. Any dealer (located in Europe) still having this watch? I want to buy this again. With bracelet. White or black dial.

Don't tell me I have to buy the gen. :)

PS: How are you doing? Any old (ancient) friends still around?

Cheers
